Hi all,
i think this is a very basic problem, but it is the first time i am texturing something halfway complex and i really can't solve it.
i made a head with blendshapes and added it to the body - all one piece of geometry now.
then i made the UVs and texture projections - after that i selected the geometry and then the texture file (in hypershade) edit > convert to file texture (so i can deform the geometry now?!). everything is fine i can render it well. but if i use any blendshape deformation the textures get crazily spread all over the geometry. also in areas that are not effected by the blendshape. same problem with my joint deformation, if i move the joint the texture moves everywhere.
so i guess the blendshapes also effect the UVs, and since they have been done before i layed the UVs on the original head its very chaotic. no clue why it happens on the joint deformation thou.
any ideas?
