Maya 5 + Renderman?

As far as I know Renderman is a PlugIn. So it will not work like all the other PlugIns out there, I think. But get in contact with Pixar and maybe there are already able to give you a date when they recompile their PlugIns.

With every new version we have the same "problem". We always have to wait till the "old" PlugIns are recompiled.
