"The imported mesh must have identical points and faces...." I finished creating a base mesh in MAYA and got rid of any 3 sided and 5 sided polys. I then exported it to an obj format so i can import it from zbrush.

When i tried that though all i got was this: "The imported mesh must have identical points and faces when imported into an active SudDiv surface. Switch to the correct subdivision-level (or deselect this tool) and try again."

If anyone can shed a light into this, I would be very grateful.

Thank You.

You have a polygon tool active/selected. Zbrush will attempt to update the geometry with the one you imported, but if the vertex order isnt identical it will fail to do so.

To import a new mesh, switch to a brush. (or anything except polygon tools). Like the text says: (or deselect this tool).
