Looks good , the photorealism is a little compromised by the mosaic"ish" effect, making the shadows look distorted. I like
the veins however.

If you do want it to look more photorealistic then do away with that gaussian blur or mosaic effect that you got going on. It is a good job though, did you have to sketch this first or did you go straight to a tablet ?

well, no. I dont wont it to look photorealistiskt. I did it so that it should look like a drawing.

And I did the model after a photo.

:)

It's cool then. I hope you realize though that drawings can be photorealistic. -Keep on keeping on

They do look very well modelled but the 'effect' seems to be destroying the form, particularly on the fingers of the right hand. If they were drawings, you'd automatically compensate for the angle and try to describe what was happening more but the lighter areas seem to be just making them look less articulated than they probably are. Any chance of seeing an untextired version?? :)

Hey, you know, with a bit more work this could really look photo realistic :p

I really like the post effects done but are you somewhat defeating the purpose. I'm sure it would take 1/50th of the time to paint this in photoshop rather than model it to this level of sophistication in 3D.

Now that it is in 3D it would be great to see more images. You could construct like a storyboard of gestures used during certain conversations - study how we use our hands in conversation.
