Here are some shots of a low poly creature I just finished! I would like to to some rig adjustments if i can find time, but overall Im pretty happy with the mesh and textures. Ill post some hardware renders soon to show how it would appear in game but for now here are some renders. All critiques welcome, please!

Nice work! Looks fearsome *being-scared* Cant tell you much about the technique since i dont know sh*t about game art ;)

The only thing i would criticise is that the textures dont appeal to me (the colors). Well, but im waiting for some in game shots, maybe he blends in with the background ;)

pretty cool design ....only thing I could crit is maybe change the head texture....its a bit dark & doesn't really suit the rest of the model.

Looks good. Cool design. Interesting skin textures. Only problem area being that in (what I assume is) his base standing pose, the middle and right most poses in the first pic, his center of gravity is a bit too far forward.

Keep it up!

I like it all.. accept for the metal peices.. The highlights in the bends of the metal make it look like you pasted the wireframe over and left the lines.. try making them less bight and add some lighting to the other side to make it really stand out.. gj tho!

This is really cool... would love to see how you would actually animate a walk cycle for a character like this :p

I appreciate the crits and comments! The pose your speaking about that looks off weight is more of just a bind pose then standing pose for the model. As for the highlights I guess I got a lil lazy! I was really wanting them to look more like worn spots in the metal but I can see your point about some difference in the shadow areas! It's kinda of funny really, I was most pleased with the metal! LOL!

Excellent as usual dude,

I agree with the previous posts, the face is a bit too dark and the wear on the metal is too white, but the model r0x, very cool concept!!!

far out
