Im not entirely sure this thread belongs here, but this place seems to be the closest to what I'm looking for.

Right now I'm in a traditional animation class, and as part of our final animation for the semester. We are to create a character that we will use to do a walk cycle and a skip, jump or sneak.

The type of character we have to create was determined by a random hat drawing we had during class. So now I have to design a bipedal platypus, and so far I'm not doing so hot. I've been completley uninspired, and there aren't many platypus characters out there that I know of to draw inspiration from. It may be a little unexpectd to how you would think a platypus would act, but I was thinking of giving the character a sort of tough guy or bad guy personality. After watching a short video about platypus' I found out that they can be pretty mean and have a venomous claw on their back flippers. And since the animals don't really have limbs, I'm thinking I'm going to have to make up some arms and legs for him.

Sorry I can't get a picture up, I don't have a scanner at the house. If it would really help to see the drawings I do have, just say something and I'll take a picture of them as soon as I can.
