Sorry for double thread, i thoug i can change the title of my thread simply by editing, but in fact not... (the other one can be deleted)

Hello, everyone !

i'm a newbe in animation, and i made my fist walk cyle. It works very well. I animated another walk cycle, a bit more different than the first one. I wanted to combine them in the trax editor, to enchain the two animations. So i created a character set, i made clips of my two walk cycle and i put the two clips in the trax editor. And when i play the animation, the second one is broken, the charater don't move as i wanted he do and my rig seems to have been broken too...

Very strange isn't it ?

Here my maya files, if anyone can help me.

I tryed to create another character set. Not to use the one i created first. In this character set, i put all the controlers of my character. Next, i created new clips. And when i put them in the trax editor, my character didn't walk all the time. He walk normally on the first clip, and on the second, his feet are not moving, only the hipsway seems to move. It's very strange...

Is there someone who can help me please ?

Finaly, i have my answer !

I post it there if it can help someone else who have the same problem.

Looking at this new file, you have some keys set on character sets (most of the upper body animation), and other keys set to controllers (so the keys are visable even with no character sets selected, such as the feet. You can also see this if you delete all your character sets, you'll notice the feet continue to animate). Only keys set into selected character sets are added to animation clips, so your feet, as the scene currently is set up, won't be added to any animation clips until they get added to a character set. Working with character sets can be very tricky, and takes some practice. In the meantime, in order to get all your animation into a character set so you can make a clip, follow the bellow steps:

In the trax editor, find any animation clips you've created, activate keys, then delete the clips, make sure your animation remains as intended.
In one of your veiwports, select Show > none, then Show > Nurbs curves.
Select all your curves (except the curve that controls the spine and the one in the right elbow, named splineCurve and curve1 respectively).
In the trax editor, Create > Character set (this has to be done in the trax editor for this step, as creating a character set in the trax editor will add keys, already created, into the character set).
In the outliner, ctrl select all your character sets (should have 4 now).
In your animation set (F2), go to Character > Merge Character Sets
In the Trax Editor, with your new, single character set in the trax editor (if not, select the character set from your character set options in the bottom right corner of the GUI (bellow the play button), Create > Animation clip.
This should create 5 animation clips, as your file is currently set up, one for each of the 4 sub-character sets, and one primary one. you'll need to move all 5 of these clips around together or your animation will begin to distort. You can, if you wish, merge all of these sub-character sets together by ctrl selecting each of the 4 sub-sets in addition to the primary charact sets in the merge step above (step5).

I followed this steps, and it works.
