Allrighty, here we go then I guess. The first thing that came to my head was a scenario where the polar caps melted and everything is underwater with modern glass-tunnels and streets integrated into the existing ruins, but I figured that it might be a bit too hard for me to accomplish in a photorealistic way, so I decided to go with something more straightforward and simpler:
The Nazi regime succeeding in it's plan to conquer the world (or at least europe for the sake of this challenge).

I'll prolly go with shots 3 and 6 and either 1 or 4. Will hopefully have some first scribbles and color-variations finished later that day or tomorrow.

This is gonna be fun I guess!

quite like the sound of the first idea, would be different :) glass tunnels over the roads, you could break down the surrounding buildings into ruins and maybe have it underwater, hmm interesting. That said, you're going with the other idea, so good luck

after several hours of fruitless trial and error with the third reich idea I decided to try the other one and it's somehow working out better for me. Will most likely mean that I won't be able to finish all shots till the deadline, but it'll be nice practice nontheless.
some first scribbles which I'll most likely update along the way. No changes to imply that it's underwater yet and will definitely change the color on the girders and obviously the glass. Any ideas and critcism, even if it's fairly early in the process are very welcome :)

Not sure on the second one if i should stick with the branching, since I can't say if there will be any moving footage going that way but it would certainly simplify the composition.

well, off to collecting some underwater reference. :D

looking good, dont lose the background too much in the top one, push it back a little.

Remember, concept stage is all about brain storming lots of ideas, come up with a few then pick the best :)
