Hey guys This is my 1st post on this website. Id have to say some of the work on this website is damn crazy. Well this is a project that I did for a friend. I tried to capture the realism of Megabloks and hopfully succeeded at it. Well what do you think of it. Any info is welcome.

Well you have definitely given it that "lego" look to it. Instead of megabloks however, I would just go for Legos, because being a megablok professional that I am (my 17mo old son plays with them), Megabloks are much bigger and bulker than they way they are configured in your stills. Other than that it looks really good! It makes me want to go build a lego town! Keep modelling man!

Hi thanks glad you like it, i say megabloks instead of lego because megabloks actually has peices that are the same size as lego now. this model is actually based on a real megabloks toy

great job! simplicity often works best, though im a total sucker for anything with a base pixelated/retro/toy look. animation would be very cool. im curious as to what technique you used for the base blocks & circular connect things. is it boolean for one mesh? or is it just cylendars on top of cube? just wondering...

Thanks greek_fire, for the cubes I merged a Cylander and a cube together and "worked" the so that they appear the way they are.
