Hello guys.

I'm modelling a nissan skyline via splines (first stage), but I'm having trouble getting the correct dimensions.

As you'll notice in the attached image, there are the standard four screens, XYZ and 3D.

Now, I'm using two referenced images, 1 (http://chrisnz.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/gtr-vspec-ii-nur.jpg) , 2 (http://chrisnz.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/white-r34-gtr-nur-back.jpg).

I've outlined the issue I'm having in yellow circles and the splines that I'm having trouble with (matching it up with the blueprints) are the orange coloured ones selected.

The actual problem/issue I'm having is trying to figure out how the splines should be. The attached image contains a second image at the bottom, only this one the splines are re-aligned, and the (right, side) image you can see the spline matching up with the tail light, but then of course having it like that it mis-aligns the outer dimensions as seen in the top screen shot.

The referenced images shown you can see pretty much all the back tail lights are fairly in-line with each other in the vertical direction.

If anyone knows what is going on that would be fantastic.

Well from looking at your image and refferance you top spine is pretty spot on.

The other version(bottom) version is wrong. The curve should be a nice curve like the top one.That weird line you are following in bottom one includes lines of the panel line coming down from the top of the boot of the car (Trunk of the car for non Australians)

So look close at your real world refferance it will help clear up any confusion with the blueprints.
