View Full Version : WIP - Robot in City at Night

Hi, this is a WIP that i'd really like some help with, the idea as you can probably see is a massive robot causing havoc in a city at night of which you can only see it's foot, i've done my best with the lights etc. so far but it doesnt look quite right, and any tips for the foregrond, i'm also struggling as to where my reflections should be coming from as there is no real light source, thanks :)

Since you will have some ambient lighting at best with this scene, go ahead and detail out the foot. It's too blurry and indistinct to say much more at this point.

Once you get the foot and the foreground cleaned up, you can then apply some ambient highlights and shadows for the depth.

maybe you can add a figure or a car or something in the foreground to help show the scale of the robot.

wow thanks, that gives a suprisingly vibrant/ nice effect, sadly i have become too frustrated with this piece and have moved on :(
