Thanks for all your crits on my previous attempts at this character.
I am hoping to go ahead and start my animation now, that is unless i have missed something blatant.

Some texture areas feels all to sharp, like the edges of the lips.. makes it feel very unreal. The lightning thou is very good, I just gotta say! ..and yup, she really looks like a ganster ;) Try to use milder colors for the textures I think. Good luck!, love to see the animation!
Impressive! :bounce:

love the expression too, the forehead almost looks like a whole different shade from the rest of the face way to pale, maybe a little less color across the t zone of the face. Its schweet!

I think her eyes need more color.
Excellent work, wish I could do that!

i really like this..................could you possibly let us see the rest of her
the green eye shadow is a nice touch
i think as a gangster she needs more earings, possibly a tatoo on her neck, something like that
sweet work though

With what you are attempting here, I really think you got to sort out the details cos people are noticing them more than the character. Chief culprits are the ears which do look detatched and possibly not well modelled. The mouth looks too defined and whilst the eyes look good in the other post, they look too reflective here. Any chance of a model and /or wire frame to see where the modelling and texturing are working with each other best?. That said I think the character is potentially very strong, all the more reason to get the best out of her. :)

looks great yet very weird....she sorta looks like a cyborg where they didnt quite get the skin looking perfect.

This is one of those pictures where you stare, then when you finally get your mind back and pull your jaw up from the floor, you stare some more and say to yourself ... WOW!

really good work of lighting and texturing.
if you are at this point, i think you can also go any further, so...
- modeling
the chin seems to be a little too long and you should work a little bit more on the ears.
- texturing
go and read the long thread about the making of eyes. yours are good, but there somthing lacking inside the color

Excellent head model - any chance of seeing a wireframe of it?

she looks so ruff
kinda sexy
Thanks for your crits once again. The main crits seem to be centered around the ears and skin tones. I agree about the skin tones, I think i had been working to hard and lost my bearings a little on the colour. But the ears are confusing i think the angle on the render doesn`t flatter them. but on the patch wire frame you can see thay are attached. Hmm, i need to give this more thought.

I think the reason the ears look detatched is partly the angle but also that you have the lower lobe protruding out from the face rather high whereas on most that area would be lower and the area between the top and bottom is usually an extension of the face with only a slight change in contour. Model emphasises the hardness of the chin which might be better softened slightly. :) :)

Yeah, I'm gonna have to side with some of the others here, great lighting but she's kinda scary, if she's meant to be then fine I guess, but if not then she needs lots of softening up.
I think the eyes make her look like the Victoria model from Poser (who is ugly IMO), I'd say take some angle off the eyes, make them a bit bigger perhaps and make the chin smaller.
The textures are also a bit heavy for a female, her nose is too red, like it's been hit or something. The eyes also lack some definition there on the textures, particularly the pupils are hard to see. Eye sell the image so I'd change them, maybe the color of the iris as well, but definetly make them less grey/milky. The lips are good, but for some strange reason the shadows seems very heavy on the inside of the lips, i'd check the geometry of the edge of the lips there, it looks a touch too angular.
The lighting looks fantastic though, so, on the whole a great work, but if she's meant to be pretty she still needs work.
