DWIII - 2D - hspg - Warlord

Hi all, here's a couple of concepts for my crustacean alien worlord. I am working on more variations of both the character and the artifact.
He wields a bladed shield that's a melee weapon and a summoning tool; I don't have the summon nailed yet. What do you guys think? Crits and comments are welcomed.

A bit more refined sketch, no summons, maybe just weapons with dark elemental, not sure yet.

I like your sketches, especially the first one but I don't agree with the dual blade part... kinda cheesy. But I do like the weapons on the latest sketch, maybe consider.. merging and see how that looks.

Wow, this is a really interesting idea. I really like where you are going with this, especially the idea of a squid-like artifact. He definitely has the proportions of a warlord, and I think the last idea for his arm is perfect.

I hope you finish this, and I'm definitely going to keep watching your thread.

I especially like the latest update, i really dig the designs on the 2nd page of the 3.

I love the fact it is not symetrical while it maintains a nice balance designs,,,, the big shape along with small shape.
