Sorry for stupid question, but how do you display vertix coodinates in blender?
Not stupid at all,
In edit mode hit the "n" key (Numeric?). This will open the "transform properties" floating window. By default i think it gives "local" coordinates, but there's a toggle at the top to change then to global should you wish. You can just read the coordinates there or manipulate them by typing in the boxes.
