View Full Version : Multiple Cameras for static renders, possible?

I need to set many cameras in my scene to shoot different static renders,
Since now i've not found any way to make possible to render all the cameras views automatically.
Am i wrong or the only way is to write out a single file for any camera view and than use the batch render??

This would be really annoying since i have to render about 50 static views, and my scene project ends out in a quite large file (about 200mb)

i've read about the "stage object" as a method for switchin camera during an animation, but i don't think it's the some thing.
In my case cinema has to render one camera, save the tiff, switch camera, save again and so on.

I'd really appreciate any help/tip consideration, since i'm in rush for the develop of this job.
TIA

Hi,
what you want is basicaly a camera animation. Use the stage object to animate between the cameras (a different camera for each frame) and select TIFF as fileformat for output.
Another option is to use one camera and animate it between different positions using linear interpolation, but i think the stage object is the better choice.
Hope this helps

Supposing you have 50 stills to render, each time from a different viewpoint:

- use Stage object to switch from camera 1 to camera 2 to camera 3, and do this on every frame.
- this leads to an "animation" of 50 frames.
- render out your "animation" as still images (with autonumbering) - don't save it as a movie file.

Result: 50 stills, one for each camera position
