Hey guyz :)

I just completed my first ever matte painting..for the nvidia space art contest.
It was created by me in my friend in the span of 2 days.
It was a joint effort and we like the way result came (though not completely satisfied with it) ;)

we googled some of the images so copyright (if any) it belongs to the photographer/creator

so here is the concept and the matte

The Golden clouds

"The war has no winners only losers"

Mankind learnt this lesson a hardway. After a very ruthless and disturbing war human kind faced extinction.
Some noble men decided to presreve the remaining. They found a new rock in the process of exploring mother earth.
this new rock was extraordinary because if given the charge of natural electricity or pure energy..it could defy..Gravity.

These men flew away with what they could, they engineered with nature and went up to the sky. They fused nature and architecture. And they went closer to God. Closer to Peace.

The goden aura around them signifies the Ray of Hope. Hope of a better world someday..

Software used :: Photoshop CS2 (with mouse)

Hi Rahul , Welcome to this forums. I think your concept is interesting, but the lack of perspective is not helping with scale and depth, I actually like the integration on the floating city on the right , but the color palette I think need improvement, also one of your layers in the right is cut out, aereal perspective is needed too, in roder to give scale to the objects, don't forget you're working here with huge constructions
