(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/1205096663/1024bound)So here's my entry in the challenge. it's been a long run with lots of ups and downs but i've finished the piece. the rich fellows live smoothly while the middle class struggles; not so many know about the folks down below, below the fog. the harsh weather forced such structures. 3ds max, zbrush and tons of PS, not much matte but rather corrections and detailing.
enjoy.
As a side note, unfortunately i should mention that the concept is kinda original and dates way back this challenge. still, there have "only" been like 100 entries with stones and buildings on sides and lots of orange. the only reasonable and logical explication i can think of is that we're all descendants of Jules Verne and we're actually anticipating some weird future :D
cheers, and congrats to all late-posters(and not only) for the cool pieces.
