hey fandalis,

well, how about show us what you had in mind. I am sure if you post a ref pic or something people will either tell you how it's done or guide you to a link.

there are numerous ways of achieving glossy/wet look, but not sure about a filter though.

Sometimes the Plastic Wrap filter can help, especially if you dup the layer, apply the filter, then play around with layer opacity and/or blending modes.

if there's a gloss there's volume... :)

in making gloss effect for raw material you got to play with your
light (in filter/render/lighting effects) and channels.

i'll post some sample afterwards...

here's a sample image with gloss effect
http://www.pinoysite.com/education/fandalis/gloss.jpg

there are so many variation or gloss types you can achieve
in this image by playing with lighting, gloss, ect. inside the
render/lighting effects filter and also via the layer options.

the problem with plastic wrap filter is there's no concentration
on the highlight. you never know where the light source came
from. and another thing is there's no volume. well, if there's other
setting or procedure that we can achieve gloss with plastic wrap
filter, the easier. ;)
