CGTalk - Space: Earth Model

I was playing around in Max and came up with this. I Had not planned on making a space scene, but now I feel I must...I just thought it looked kinda neat, so I posted it.

did you do those textures yourself or is it just the Earth shader that comes with max.

ouch....lol. I can see your point. It's so far away you cant tell, but the textures are 13000x6800 images (except cloud layer). Once I figure out how to do a proper glow and make a decent cloud map, I will post a close up.
