This takes place in near future when the global warming advances beyond all expectations leaving not one snow flake on the planet thus significantly raising the sea level. Only high mountains stayed above water. So the selected of people moved to special buildings built on vertical walls in order to save as much space for surviving plants as possible.
I was inspired by bee eaters' and barn swallows' "housing habits" ;)
Modelling in Maya (rock formation detailed in ZBrush), textured in Photoshop. Trees are handmade scattered with Instancer.
