Hi I've been following a tutorial On Boujou camera tracking and I've reached the point where I need to load my footage into the backgound. However when I add it through the render - environment menu and the select the camera view and then select show back ground nothing appears.

I am trying to load an image sequence as my footage and there is a checkbox for sequence but whether I check it or not, nothing I try works.

The vieo tutorial I've been following is here: http://blip.tv/file/233779 and I'm getting stuck with what he does at 10.27s in the video where he begins to add the footage as the background.

What am I doing wrong?

Use the viewport background, not the environment&effects background.

Um.... ok i'm a bit lost - where do I go to use the viewport background? and how come it seems to work when the guy in the video does it - I'm confused :(

I never knew how to do this. Now that the tutorial showed me how, this opens up a whole new world of work for me

Noomski:

To enable environment background to be viewed go to :

Views>Viewport Background and check the 'use environment background' form field. :D
