View Full Version : vray fur. making a carpet

I am using vray 1.5, 3ds max 9 and vray fur.

I was able to place a fur on my geometry(im trying to make a small size carpet) and when I input all the information that I need and try to render it, I get black and white image.I tried placing a vraymtl onto my rug, but it still gives me a black/white rug. I can see some of the strands in white, but I don't see them in color.

can someone help me fix this??

Are other objects in the scene in color? If everything is in bw then are you sure you have the color channels turned on in your render window, and not the alpha channel? A click in the wrong place can do it.
