Hey,
During the Super Bowl, Tide announced they are running a commercial contest promoting their Tide to Go instant stain remover. Below is the entry I recently finished animating.

I liked the cartoonie look ;) Not the best motions I have seen, but we are all her to learn! :D

I did like the look, but I agree with torresmedia, your motion does need work. Especially the second to last scene, where everybody is putting apples on the teacher's desk. They all look like they're sliding along the floor.

Hmm...well you may have a hard time winning, seeing as how you used completely copyrighted characters :/

Hey,
Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I was very happy with the "look". Lightwave's built-in cel-shader did a good job. You had good control over where you wanted the outlines, ect.

Oh, I so totally agree with the motions. I had a tight deadline to get this into that contest, so I had no time for polish. I want to go back and work on the animations before this goes on a reel.

And as far as the copyrights go, you can't copyright a bald kid... Really only the idea of a teacher that you can't understand is there, but the character designs and music are originally designed, staying just close enough so you get the idea that it's Charlie Brown. Snoopy isn't even close to the original.

So if you guys remember, voting is March 11-24. This could be a huge break for me to get this aired on TV. I would be forever grateful.

Take care guys,
Paul
