Could someone help me out with a little expression writing? I'd like the size of the particle to change depending on its speed.

I'm guessing that I'll need to use radiusPP and velocity. Any help would be much appreciated

Im not sure here but have a look at mag function, it will return the lenght of a vector.
try something like...
radiusPP = mag(worldVelocity);
