Well, Eric, I may be wrong myself, but given the name the series has: "Rorch'art", I think you somehow got inspired by the Rorschach inkstain test, abstract shapes that then you later worked to 'bring out' the subject, is this so?
I think it's a fascinating approach, one that (in case you are interested) was also used by one of the greatest Chinese modern painters, Chang Dai-chien.
it hasn't been really understood... referred to the somewhat limited reaction I saw here...

You probably right Tiziano it's probably too personnal to bring interest .
I'm gonna have a look to Chang Dai-chien .
And it's hopefull I don't show all my research the reaction would be more limited .
Anyway thanks for your interest .

Without research and experiments art dies.
Don't be discouraged my friend, always onwards!
The Chinese technique is called pomo (splashed ink) or pomo pocai (splashed ink and splashed color).

Aw cute! what moves you to paint a kissy redhead piggy is beyond my lame, square imagination, that's why I like your latest paintings so much! They're personal fun and direct. you have joy with them and it shows.
Great Pics!

I like the fact that it looks and feels very much like oil-paint. I can almost smell it AHHH! :)
Loved your Sarko6 character as well!
Hello Eric, I gave you 5* because I think this image deserves more than 3 and needs to be looked at.
That being said I wish you sould've refined it, some sharp highlights to give more texture throughout would've really helped to take this piece to the next level. Anyways keep up the great work, I really like it.
