heyyas everyone, this is my first time entering a challenge here. I'm going to try to do this one http://www.insecula.com/us/oeuvre/photo_ME0000034075.html
Hope the cloth won't end up driving me too batty.

a little bit of a start.. it's looking a little funky at the moment. I want to start editing the topology a bit, especially on the hands, and then try to get the pose down. I'm pretty new to zbrush, I've never used the transpose to pose limbs before so that should be a fun learning experience.

spent a little more time on it, which makes me think how nice it would've been if there were some true side view references. I don't want to pose the hands just yet, not until I get the angle of the face and head as it should be, otherwise they would only get in the way. I'm glad that the posing part was easier than I thought.

the most recent... the face has gotten a bit long and the back is too straight.

Looking good so far. It's hard to tell with the cloth drape but the torso may need to be a bit longer. I can't tell if your modeling the eyes closed but I think they are open on the statue.

Keep it going.

worked on some of the proportions, hopefully it's an improvement. Yea, the eyes were weird on my model.. they were just there, but they did look closed in the screenshot. Something weird happened to a recent version, so I had to go back to another version and go from there....changed the topology on the face, had to redo the feet and so on.

The right foot/leg are still a bit long-looking, but the proportions are looking better than before. Keep it up. :)

this is what I have so far. Was able to get to the ears, start on those flowers and so on.

Pretty good so far :) But i think the proportions of the hands for example are off. I think they are too small / fingers too short, maybe you want to take a closer look at that. No offense, just trying to help :)

nah, it's cool... you didn't say anything offensive. I'll try to work on the hands a little more.
A little more progress, plus my first zbrush render. Would've done more, but zbrush was having a crashing frenzy. I ended up splitting the mesh into subtools, so far it helped to reduce the crashes.
