I want to import video from my Mini DV camera and burn the video files onto a playable DVD. I was wondering what the best way to import is. What video files should I burn to the DVD? Should I use AVI? Should I use any compression? Which way gives the best quality? I want a DVD that I can play from my home DVD players. Also, how can I make a DVD menu?

I'm using Adobe Premier to import, and I have Nero to burn the DVDs.

I don't know much at all about video formats and DVDs so thanks for any help.

Capture, export as DV encoded Avi and let Nero do the mpeg2 conversion.
