Software: After Effects, Maya, mental ray, Photoshop, XSI, ZBrush

Mutated parasitic beast... mind controlled by machinery of an evil mastermind to do his wicked bidding.

This is some of the stills from my newly completed VFS demo reel.

Base mesh modelled in XSI - UVs and rig in Maya - Sculpt in Zbrush, texturing in Photoshop and Zbrush using Zapplink, Shading, Lighting and rendering in Maya-mentalray.

I like your concept, you did a nice job!(great polyflow and very good texturing)

I think that you would have been able to improve the expression of the beast and make it more aggressive!

Really nice modeling and concept... I like it, I was agree at the beginning with GinoLatino, but more i look at it more I like this kind of look he had... he looks almost cute!:D

It s maybe the eyes dunno... but looks really kind to me...and I really like it.


Great Job!

Would cry to see a turntable!

Hey everyone - thanks for the compliments and comments! As to the expression - he's supposed to be a bit frightened at this point - as he's just at the moment before his defeat....

As to a turntable - I'll be uploading my demo reel soon... working on the web version.... so I guess look out for that!
