View Full Version : Tiling bad, help...

Ive always felt that Ive been a good modelor in max with the little experience I do have. But now Id like to seriously tackle texturing for the first time. I just figured out UV Mapping so Im pretty excited and am now putting together my first environment, an industrial factory... anyway here is my question:

How do I tile textures without getting the "tiled" look. Example, bricks? Its rather annoying and I see great posts on cgtalk of buildings but cant get bricks to look a bit more natural. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

use Photoshop's 'Offset' Filter, you won't see edges that way
