when i render an image to save it not a preview render it renders completley black untill i open the file and it is fine, how can i get my renderer back , I hope this made sense

check your channels you probibly have the R g and B channels turned off.

its in the picture veiwer under a menu when you are rendering.

same thing can happen if you have multipass preview on and are not rendering a multipass :/

interstingly enough it turned it out to be both plus channels/ multi layer display was selected, last time i let my friend play with c4d

man C4D is dangerous I mean next time all your porn files could be linked to your texture library (cough cough assuming you have them)

so that you get naked people instead of your face texture.

that would be a disastior.
