Your A-10 looks great. Are you going to animate it?
Hi,
the model looks really nice, good work. However you need to sort out some anti alliasing on the edges.
Also try finding a background not so blurred or tone down the lighting on the plane slightly as it doesnt quite fit.
If you sort that i'm sure it will look really nice.

that is a sweet rendering - I'd love to see an animation or some more views. The A-10 became one of my favorite aircraft after reading an article about its redundant systems and tank-hunting abilities in Air&Space magazine. I used alot of elements of it for the interiors of my WhiteOut model.
People don't make enough A-10s.
This one is great, but there's a funny line running around the cockpit and the rockets seem a bit blue.

looks great...altho it seems a little too clean for me, but a nice model..
Nice model... I agree about the model render been very diferent from the bg you're using...
Try to make it more "dirtier" or dark... But the details are right on the money!
What soft are you using?
Can we see some wires too?
Keep it UP!

Overall this is looking really good, but there are a few areas that need adjusting:
1. The top of the vertical stabelizers on your model look like they've been flattened out. In reality, they're rounded. Also, you're missing the hinge that connects the rudder to the vertical stabelizer.

2. The Pave Penny looks a little too small and comes down a little too low.
3. You're missing the GPS dome on the top just behind the cockpit. This isn't a big deal, but the most recent planes have this added.
4. Your wheel well looks like it was modeled as a part of the wing. In reality, this is a separate piece that is attached to the wing.
5. The air-to-air refueling port on the nose of the plane looks a little small.

Great work, though! You're really close.

very nice, but isn't it A10 Thunderbolt? :p
A10 Thunderbolt II, but they call it Warthog just as a nickname.

Thanks a lot for all the crits guys i apreciate them
karl:you're right about the anti-aliasing i'll try to fix it in the next render
Nath: Yeah the rockets are a bit too blue , i'll have to see about that line around the cockpit too
TuLe:yeah i should have spent more time on the composition between the picture and the BG , i'll try to do a better job on my next render
I'm using 3dsmax 5 , i'll post some wires soon
Steve Warner:I agree to just about anything you said , heh i guess you know the A-10 a lot better than i do :) thanks for all those great tips , btw the model has a landing gear so the wheels are not part of the wing
Dreamwave: like nath said Warthog is just a nickname
And thanks to all the other guys for their support i'm gald you like the model :)
i'll try to add a better render next time and adress those things you pointed out
cheers

Verrry nice image, agree with all of steve's points tho and would like to add that the star and bar isnt that far inboard on the wings, its out on the outer wing panels not near the landing gear pods, also the rockets would be the right shade of blue for training rounds, just dont think they would show up that brillant. Also the bombs under the wings look like CBU -58, which if they are, would have a really big black fuse on the nose. I love the Hawg, and was an armament crew chief on them for six years. If you want a great prepro source, try searching for the squadron signal book on it, great pics and drawing and pretty cheap too. Again an awsome piece of work i hope this helps.
