I read about a plugin that allows you to saved .max files from a current version of max in away that older version could read the file. Does any one use this plugin or know the name of of it?

It's a script catually, not a plugin and it's called BFF or Bobo's File Format.

Here (http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/bff-2007) is an updated version from a 3rd party that addresses a pathing issue in 3ds Max 9+.
