Hello there, folks,

I am a computer programmer who works mostly in machine vision, but I've been a cg and vfx enthusiast for a while. I write interactive video effects for fun, and I thought I'd share some video captures from them to see what interest there is in the cg community for them (I posted one of them here a year or so ago, thought I show off the latest stuff):

They are all written to run at interactive rates, albeit at small, web-cam resolutions, but I'm thinking of possibly packaging them up as plugins (the waves one is already a directx plugin).

I've had some interest from a couple visual effects companies, and I guess I'm trying to stir up a little more :-)

Cheers,

Kevin Atkinson

P.S. Apologies if you've already seen this on vfxtalk....

Dude - These are really cool!
Could these be made into a plug-in for after effects?

Hey, thanks, man.

Yeah, they could be packaged up as After Effects plug-ins, and I may go that route. Still trying to decide exactly what to do with them, actually. They were written as real-time, interactive effects, though there's no reason they can't work in a post-production context.

The plan is to sit tight for a bit, and see if any of the interest so far pans out into a paying gig, and if not, then to create plug-ins based on them.

Cheers,

Kevin
