Hello there, folks,
I am a computer programmer who works mostly in machine vision, but I've been a cg and vfx enthusiast for a while. I write interactive video effects for fun, and I thought I'd share some video captures from them to see what interest there is in the cg community for them (I posted one of them here a year or so ago, thought I show off the latest stuff):

http://methodart.blogspot.com/2007/0...th-messrs.html (http://methodart.blogspot.com/2007/09/some-fun-with-messrs.html)
http://methodart.blogspot.com/2006/1...-as-still.html (http://methodart.blogspot.com/2006/11/i-work-with-video-as-well-as-still.html)
http://methodart.blogspot.com/2007/0...while-but.html (http://methodart.blogspot.com/2007/09/been-too-busy-to-post-for-while-but.html)
They are all written to run at interactive rates, albeit at small, web-cam resolutions, but I'm thinking of possibly packaging them up as plugins (the waves one is already a directx plugin).
I've had some interest from a couple visual effects companies, and I guess I'm trying to stir up a little more :-)
Cheers,
Kevin Atkinson
P.S. Apologies if you've already seen this on vfxtalk....
