Hey all. I am making a castle scene, I created a half-sphere with an ENVSKY texture and found some OKAY results (not as convinient as Lightwave's Skytracer :(). Then I decided to add a bit of fog for atmospherics.
So I read the Online Help about creating Physical Fog...it says
Fog Type.............
Sky
Simulates the effect of a whole sky, with fog blending properly at the horizon, etc. Use this to provide a complete background to a foggy scene. Especially useful for scenes where you can see a long distance.
Well this is what I need! So I tried it out expecting to see something good...but all I get is a black background...I tried everything I could think of but it is still black! Can you all give some tips on how to fix this? Maybe I am doing something wrong, or maybe I have the whole concept of Physical Fog Sky all wrong? Can anyone help me out on how to work this...or give me some pointers on making a REAL good sky?
