View Full Version : Ps7 Ink character concepts
waterblue 05-05-2003, 11:13 AM From my game concept, still in development, here is the first of a series of character concept sketches.
The woman is a real estate salesperson ( dunno if i spelled that correctly ), very stricht and profeesionel about her work, at the same time it is a facade of here lonelyness. She is as beautyfull and erotic as she is cold and mysteries.
Done in PS7

nice drawings man...I dig the style...you inked these in ps7?
I cant ink in photoshop, I have to do it by hand...
on that note..the only thing I see is you might want to taper some of your line widths a bit more...some of the line weights look a bit uniform. nice job :)

thanks for the C&C Titan
The lines does look uniform alike, but that was a thing I messed around with for some time, but it became more natural to me to maintain that "straight" ink line feel to the rest of style - but I do prefer the more natural brush stroke feel when I ink traditional on paper.
I could show a step by step image , if there is interrest to it.
cheers

do you use a drawing tablet or mouse?
i find it hard to get the results you have attained from drawing directly into photoshop, good work.
one thing: i find the noses are a little.. er.... strange (for want of a better word) :D

yes, I use a A3 format Wacom Tablet.
he he, the noses are are strange looking, you say...well, I wonŽt disagree with you on that one, they could use some rework...sometimes I just have so many ideas I have to let go off in an instance, and the sketches got...welll, a little messy...but thats how it is with brainstorming :D
