(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/1204658776/1024bound)Hello, this is something that has been on my mind for a long time. the competition made me start doing it and im happy its finished in time :) its started as a 3d rendering but its more like a matte painting now..although no photos has been used..
its about a terraformed world, big buildings are some kind of massive air condition system, connected to the nearby sea by pipelines and huge filters underground. the outer vents are quiet so the building also serves as a hotel with a nice ocean view :) thousands of such emitters are placed around the mainland to provide breathable air and controlled weather :)
