He's a freedom fighter from an alternative steampunkish world (hence the strange breather). I must confess i was more than just inspired by some pictures of the "League of extrordinary gentlemen" comic.
The armor thingy will likely be connected to the mask, as it is more than just an armor : think "fremen stillsuit " from Dune..
I'm quite happy with the result : used a lot of new and different techniques. I decided to keep almost every element under the cloaks , mask etc; for fun and animation, the face is almost ready for facial animation and lipsyinch.
I didn't want to go beyond 4000 tris, and managed to get it down from about 5000 to 3780 ..(including accesories and weapons)
I am not sure yet but i might do a high poly version for normal mapping aswell ..

Nah, there is nothing wrong. I guess all those viewers are like me: they refrain from posting if the only thing they can say is "Hey! nice work!' ;)

Hey, nice work!

If I make game characters and I come to optimalization phase, I always triangulate the whole mesh. This way I can see where's those plus polies.

Wings is ****** **** ** ***** ** *'n cool! Free softwares will rule the world!
