Hello well im trying to make a house in 3ds max.The modeling part is easy but when it comes to textureing the damn thing there is to meny rules to follow and i even know half of them.

Ive made a normalmap for my wall and generated a normalmap from a texture(Brick) with help from crazybump beta 8.6.So far so good but if i want to add more details to a normalmap like bulletholes i just cant figure out how to do that

I use Photshop and crazybump.I have tried to paint them in photoshop and generate the normal in Crazybump but i cant get any depth to talk aboute.Any idea how to archive a good result this way?

Any tutorials maybe?

this may help a bit with manually increaseing the depth of your narmal map:

you could use this technique on just the bullet hole areas to increase the look of depth in them i suppose.

hope it helps a bit
