Well, this is as much as I'm willing to do. Time to move on to a new image before I go crazy or turn green. Thanks everyone for the comments during wip and any suggestions I get now will be applied to my next attempt at something like this.

Thanks for looking gang,

-T.

Oh, this was made in Rhino and painted over in Photoshop. Not that anyone asked...

Very nice. Painted textures or did you just paint overtop of the render?

On top of a grey render. Rhino doesn't really handle textures well at all. Thanks.

Thanks! Yeah, this is what's been holding up the Dry Well image. I kinda got into a modeling frenzy again. I hope to go back and finish up the Dry Well soon though.

Really nice work! I don't know what to say (well ears could be better, I guess so... the folds on them doesn't match the reality), except that I would like to see him also from other sides and animated...

Thanks for having a look, gang. Yeah, I know the ear isn't the greatest but what can I say, I'm still learning. :)

Ask somebody to take photo of your's or take somebody else ears photo and then use the Dave's way (http://www.thehobbitguy.com/tutorials/polymodeling/index.html) of modeling, I used this to create this (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64952).

Thanks but I think it wouldn't really apply here, it's a NURBs model, not a poly model.

.... I guess I could convert it, export it, and edit the polys afterwards in my Lightwave Discovery Edition though.

they eyes are out of place for the earthX version of hulk, he was very dark and u could barely see his eyes at all

Yup you're right, the eyes are really sunken in but I realized that most folks here wouldn't know that, so I put 2 spotlights dead on the front of his face so folks would know they're there. If Alex were to have light shone directly on the Hulk's face in one of his paintings in a similar way, I'm sure you'd see the eyes. Here's a shot of the model using two lights from above coming in at two different directions.

Great work, Teyon! I love the green tones in the skin and how it blends whith the warm ones.

Alex Ross is one of my favourite illustrators!!!!
