View Full Version : problems rendering shag with Brazil
Kaneda 05-04-2003, 09:16 PM Hello everybody... Iam working actually in a new character model, and I have some problems rendering shag hair with brazil...even with a very good image sampling. The result is that hairs have a bad look depending of the point of view. they seems good in the border of the object but in the middle it's like I was using a fallof map or something like this and I have just a basic shader in my hair emetter. In scanline the bug is solved but it still scanline...:buttrock:
What can I do ? any solutions ? does anyone ever had the same problem here or what ?
Thanks for your regards....

Heya,
Are you sure you have :
1. Bucket order set to top > bottom
2. Shag set to have render stripes the size of buckets, or better yet - the whole image size(height)
3. no undersampling in use ?
If so - no clue... haven't heard of any other problems there.

you should know that brazil and shag hair don't mix... they dont support each other. many people talked about it before.

Brazil and Shag do mix, as long as you follow the guidelines set out by ZeBoxx.
