simply question:

how can I select first a NurbsCircle than a group (curve Group) ?

explanation if need is following.... (if image dont showing. than open image link up in a seperate Internet explorer)

http://host.deluxnetwork.com/~lana/cgtalk/problem11.PNG

A: nurbsCircle that will be aligned.
B: curve group (that will be reference to align A. (with align tool))

S1:possible selection screenshot. first group second circle.
S2:screenshot of a couple of group pieces (B's pieces)
S3:dream selection need ;screenshot. first circle second group. (if u confused how I do it. I wanted to show the need seection order.(attached group curves to show the problem))

if I should want to align B to A . it could easy to select.

first Group (by clicking any group item than UP key)
second Ctrl+Click to A. than the group can be aligned to B.no problem here..

but I dont want to align B to A.

I want to align A to B !!!

first I am clicking to A
second I m trying to click group. (Itried some key combinations as UP+ctrl etc.)

is it possible ?

You could pick your objects or groups in the outliner or hypergraph instead of picking them in the viewports.
