I have this bright line running across the area where the two lights meet. I'm using Translucent Pro 1.5. There are two spot lights in the scene, one very bright light in the back and one key like in the front.

and here's what happens when only the backlight is turned on - bright spots appear instead of a smooth translucency. I've tried boosting up the samples and directions - no use. So, any clue what might be causing this?

ok, i'll answer my own question :). it was caused by a low soft shadow sample size. the sample size was at 1, i set it to about 4-5 and the sploches were gone.

Heh, I was going to post "get rid of the Alien inside of her and check that soft shadow samples" but glad you solved it.
