hi,

as the title says, i need to make an object transparent for certain parts. like the image below. does anabody know a good tutorial ?

In photoshop you could use color range to make a selection

ok I hate to see posts with no replies, so I answer :

Just create a material and put a black and white image in the transparency channel.
