I will have to change my Coronation due its not on the mouseum anymore.

So i changed to "lion and Serpent" from Mr, De Barye.
I will use Maya and Zbrush.
This is the link that shows this sculture in the mouseum at the moment.

I have found that all the pictures of this statue have been taked from the same angle.
But there is one fact, the lion its the same in all the ages, so basicly if i create a figure of a lion, and sculpt it in zbrush it should do the job. There are other scultures of the same theme, but they are different. Also i've noticed that the snake its almost out of the ground. Even if i understand this is not an old sculture it seams that has some scratches from traveling or even time. The lione basicly has a huge head, and the pose its pretty good for rigging. I have found in the Mouseum page the dimentions of this sculpt and the material used for this, wich will help me a lot for the final shader.

I've been loocking in the internet for some anatomy pictures that could help me getting the lion siloutte.
And i have divied them into some categories.

The first two are for proportions only. These two will tell me where everything will go in the Lion.

The next picture will help me with the HEAD.

And the two finals will help me with the Hair W and H. Where every piece of fur will go on the lions body.

I've prepared the dim for the picture, to get and idea of the % that the lion its taking on the sculpture. So doing some math you can get the % and so the scale in the 3d program.
Im starting to preparte the Project for Maya.

I absolutely love this sculpture, perhaps because I'm a Leo...

I really hope you nail it, and your research efforts show some dedication! I will be frequenting this HMC! Good luck!

I can't wait to see your finished model! It will be a hard one. A lot of detail in it!
