Hi, I batch rendered in maya an animation to AVI.

field option: frames.
compressor: microsoft video 1
1280 x 960

The outcome was played properly in windows media player. But when imported into premiere pro cs3, it was very blurry (almost cann't read what is going on), and the image wasn't fit in the window in premiere (the images seemed to try to keep the original size, so most of the content were cut off....)

Does anyone know what it is? I've tried several other file format, like tga, tiff, they are not surppot by premeiere....

Thanks

That's not correct, Premiere supports TGA and TIF. Those are the two most common production bitmap file formats on the planet.

I know premiere surppot those format, but the tga and tiff I rendered in maya doesn't work.

Try rendering without an alpha channel.

don't know why a TGA or TIF wouldn't work... but you should definitely choose them over AVI.... check your framebuffer settings in MR if you're using that to make sure you're not rendering 16/32bbp images.

I tried a tiff sequence. It worked. What didn't work was still tiff and sga. Now I don't choose AVI which many say is a bad choice. Thanks.
