She's awesome..really like the hair, and the huge buttons too.

Love the style of these wee characters, makes me think of what mark ryden would be like in 3d or something..great stuff.

a little bit too cliché for my taste...
nice style tho, I'd change the seat texture, has a strange shininess...

Thanks for the comments.

Audellah: I use Lightwave 7.5. The horns are on her head but made invisible to the camera but with cast shadow enabled.;)

Mhuahahahaha!

This is sooooooo cool :buttrock:

I've been thinking of a character similar to this one for years.
Only that her name would be little AMI, and as I don't have enough skills to do it, it never evolved from ideas to project

Well, congratulations, she is GREAT.

I got myself a new wallpaper ;)

Best regards.

Hehe... Dennis if I have your killer animating skill, she would be jumping around and could not sit still....

JPGargoyle: I actually wanted to name her something else but settled for Angie ( someone I didn't like at work). Now who's being evil??? :D hehehe....

At least I'm sure your Angie is prettier than the other Angie hum?

Angie --> Angelica --> Angel.
That name makes a nice contrast with the character actually. She looks innocent, she looks like a little angel, but she is pure evil underneath. I'm wondering if she could have a little twin evil brother, or is it too much?

Actually she has a angelic twin sister. A result when my niece didn't like the "evil" version. (Kids- what do they know?:p ) It's depressing when kid doesn't like your kiddy creation.:surprised :hmm:

JpGargoyle: Naturally my Angie is prettier than the REAL THING! :D

dorjepictures: Hey I love your photos of Dalai Lama and Tibet... they are awesome!! Your photography is as good as your 3D stuff!! Are you buddhist too?

:) I've met a Nyingma dzogchen master (chadral Rinpotche) in Gangtok (Sikkim), and he gave me my sangha name, it is why your nickname speaks to me. And your 3D work speaks to me too, I like your cartoon style.

But now that we've seen evil Angie, its hard to look at her "angelic twin sister" and get rid of that evil "stigmata".

I think it runs in the family he he he

nice one, keep it up

You seem to use the same skin texture and eyes [ modeling and texturing ] for your characters, can you go over how you do it ... your LW brothers want to know :)

Beautifull executed! Just to nitpick on an otherwise wonderful pic, I find the material on the seat a bit too metallic and the procedural nature of the bump is quite obvious.
I do love the way the seat resembles a creature with eyes, paws and horns!

hmmm, I like this one! :buttrock: little children can sometimes be way more scary than monsters! :-)

quick question about the shader you used on her skirt...is it a normal gradient or did you use something els the get the satin look to it?

Looks evil and corrupting, but is actually innocent and good. I'm not even sure how you would be able to communcate that idea with just a still image. It's so much easier to see the hidden evil than it is to see the hidden good.

Great pic :applause:

I must admit though that I also find the seat texture in need of some tweaking... :) It also seems a bit too procedural for my tastes.

But otherwsie, a fantastic character
Keep up the great work!

First of all, David Kwok and Plasticbag(Ernest), my fellow Singaporeans THANK YOU! ( BTW what's up with the nick Plasticbag? "Kena psycho" by American Beauty?? :p )

Kaiser Sose: My texturing methods are pretty straight forward. The face and eyes are UV with bitmap images(painted in Photoshop) and the skin has tinge of gradient on Incidence angle for Color, Luminosity and Translucency for subtle glow.

Werner: The skirt is just gradients on Light Incidence for both Color and Specularity.

Wiro & Leigh : I guess the texture of the chair could be improved further. I will look into it.

Thanks to the rest who find my work interesting enough to drop a line. I appreciate it. :airguitar
