I'll probably post this on Kuryome's site also.

There is a nice tutorial about how to use motion builder control rigs to drive .bvh rigs. Then plot and export back out to .bvh.

I have done this fine and it works like a charm. However when i use InterPoserPro to import the .bvh onto the poser character, the characters arms and legs are reversed. Although if i use a .bvh motion straight from Poser IPP imports the .bvh fine.

At first i thought it was a naming convention but it is not because with the tutorial method the naming convention does not change at export time.

Has anyone ever tried this or got it working?

Thanks.

Hi there,

Is the MotionBuilder/BVH tutorial you mention above online, or is it one that comes with MB?

Thanks!
Dan

The tutorial is online here: http://www.3dlinks.com/motionbuilder-poser.cfm .

Beware this does not cover the entire process including the IPP importing.

Some elbow greese is needed!
