View Full Version : coloured body, white head (no rasism :P)

Okey, so i made a body and added a material. Then i made a head, and textued it with an image.. then i joined the two images. But i wanted to remove the uv texture on the head and just use the material on the whole body. So i went it uv face mode, deleted the uv face image, and now the head is white and the body has skin colour.

I've tried check/uncheck "texface" and i've deleted and made a new material. but still i'm having the exact problem... anyone? It seems that the head still think it is seperated and when i deleted the image it still think it's supposed to have a image assigned to it.. help anyone?

Hi,

Check the Material assigment in Editing [F9] >> Links and Materials. It's seems that your mesh kept the second (or first?) material linked to the faces of the head.

If the box shows '1 Mat 1' there is only one material assigned to the object. But any '# Mat #' means there is more than one material in use in.

You can delete it or assigned the body material to the faces of the head. (Just select all the vertices, click left or right in the '# Mat #' until it reachs the desired one and press the button 'Assign', located bellow).
