Title: Atoll of ice
Name: Laurent Mordin
Country: France
Software: Photoshop

This is my second post for the NVART CHALLENGE. I have, used the technique of the matte painting. It is a new vision of another world, but this time, a world of ice where, as it polynesie, lot of atoll are spread in the sea, although mountainous continents also exist. Every atoll have a city and all the city are connected between them.
Vessels who takes off in the foreground is my modest tribute at Chris Foss's style, this exceptionel painter of science fiction

Nice piece. It looks like a cover to a sci-Fi novel.

but the shadow under the island on the right is really way to dark... and the same in the distance also..

As i said in another place, it's a nice composition and a good ambience, i like the shape/colors of the spaceship in the left corner.
