View Full Version : WIP Environment - Sewer

Hi!

I am new to modelling, i've only been doing this for about a month and only been messing around, so I've decided to start making something.

This is a sewer intended for a game level, maybe for a horror game or FPS type game. I wanna keep it low poly and texture-reliant so wish me luck! I use Blender for all of this shizzle - i've tried all of the 3d modelling packages but I just like blender, plus it's free ;)

I'm curious on how to do the water I plan to have sat at the bottom in the dip, could anyone make any suggestions? At the moment my plans are to just have static textured water, but that would suck. :P Help please! xD

Hey, I have been working on this some more and have improved it and started the texture work. I still need to do some fixing on the UV map and of course there is going to be much more to this, but here is what I've done so far.

Couple things - good start, but major stretchage is evident on your brick texture - and the scale of it is way too large. It makes it look like a toy sewer. :)

it seems you want to make it tileable
i did one of those too some time ago, if you want, i can give you the "game" i wrote for it to test our meshes after you're finished
